Effective from 16 September 2026
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies on the webtact.bg website, which is operated by WEBTACT EOOD, UIC 206796741, Burgas. How we process your personal data in general is described in the Privacy policy.
1. What cookies and pixels are
Cookies are small text files that the website stores in your browser. They let the website remember your settings, and let statistics and advertising providers recognise your browser on your next visit. Pixels and tags are small snippets of code that tell the relevant platform that you have visited a page or sent a form. In this policy we call all of them “cookies”.
There are two kinds of cookies, depending on who sets them. First-party cookies are set by webtact.bg. Third-party cookies are set by other providers' domains, for example doubleclick.net or facebook.com.
2. When we ask for consent
Under Art. 4a of the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act (ЗЕС), strictly necessary cookies, without which the website cannot work, are set without consent. All others, for statistics and advertising, are set only after your explicit consent.
3. How you give, change and withdraw consent
- On your first visit, a banner appears with two equally visible buttons, “Accept all” and “Refuse”. The “Settings” button lets you choose “Statistics” and “Advertising” separately and confirm with “Save my choice”. Both categories stay off until you switch them on.
- The website works fully even if you refuse or make no choice.
- Your choice is stored in the wt_consent cookie for 12 months. After that, and whenever a new tool is added, we will ask you again.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- When you withdraw consent, the website deletes its own cookies in the relevant category (_ga, _gcl_*, _fbp, _fbc). Third-party cookies, such as IDE and fr, stop being updated. You can also delete them in your browser settings.
- Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
Before you make a choice, Google's tags receive a signal that statistics, advertising cookies, sending data for advertising and personalised ads are declined. In this state Google neither sets nor reads cookies, but it may receive anonymised cookieless signals (browser type, time, page, whether a conversion took place), which it uses for statistical modelling. The website carries the ad click identifier in the page address instead of storing it in a cookie, and removes advertising identifiers from requests. When you give consent, the signal is updated and the tags start using cookies.
The Meta and OpenAI tools do not load at all until you allow the “Advertising” category.
